It was not longer after Brent Pease crossed his first IRONMAN finish line that Kyle asked the most revered question in KPF history: Can people in wheelchairs do IRONMAN?

With a resounding "yes" IRONMAN has held a special place in everyone's heart since.

There is no denying that everyone was impacted by Covid-19 and the social distancing needed to stay safe. Struck particularly hard were individuals with special needs and their families. They found themselves removed from in-person school and employment which led to removal of respite care for both the individual and their families.

KPF is beyond excited to be back to providing in-person programming and opportunities for our in-chair athletes and their families. To do this, we need your support.

Being an IRONMAN or becoming an IRONMAN is a daunting task that requires tenacity, perseverance, and the willingness to be comfortable with the uncomfortable. As Kyle reminds us: these are the same characteristics persons with disabilities must possess to make it through the day-to-day.

Please consider supporting KPF's mission of inclusion by supporting one of our IRONMAN as they take on the training and race day of IRONMAN Florida to push themselves in the spirit of raising funds for inclusion.
