Hey friends! If you know me well you know that I am always doing something outside and active. My biggest hobby has been triathlon since 2004 and in this sport I was able to push myself to extreme limits. In doing that I learned how to overcome adversity and deal with inner demons. I am a much stronger person and have learned that anything IS possible. My dreams of qualifying and competing in the Ironman World Championships in Kona, HI and the 70.3 World Championships came true. After working hard for this goal, I have taken a few years off from racing.
What was left to race for? Why would I want to put myself through all that grueling training again? ...for what purpose? Well I am inspired by people who are brave enough to take risks and make the most of their circumstances....those that do not give up no matter what. I am hoping to make an impact by helping others this time. I have found a worthy motivation to triathlon train again. Please consider donating to my cause.
