This is the convergence of my love of racing with athletes from the Kyle Pease Foundation with the Peachtree Road Race 10k. No matter how hot, humid, and hilly it will be July 4th, my teammates and I will look forward to sharing smiles. And my athlete will bring the tunes, too to celebrate inclusion one mile at a time!
On July 4, 1970, 150 runners gathered at the old Sears parking lot on the corner of Atlanta's Peachtree and Roswell Road. Of those runners, 110 finished the inaugural Peachtree Road Race. Now, we'll be one of 12 Kyle Pease Foundation teams in the midst of 60,000 of our closest sweaty friends!
