My name is Lizzie Kirksey my goal is to raise $2,000 so more adaptive athletes can do the races as I do! I will be doing my 3rd Marine Corps Marathon in October 2019 in memory of my father who was a 100% disabled Marine veteran and an avid runner! I’m also dedicating this race in honor of my nephew Dylan Norton who was always there helping others and had a big heart ❤️!
In October 2018 at the MCM my team mate Gordie Powell and I qualified for the 2020 Boston Marathon in 2 hours and 59 minutes! As there is a lottery system for the wheelchair division we are praying we get picked! If we do we will be the first Kyle Pease team to run the Boston Marathon! Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!
