Hi friends! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!
On March 17, 2019, Gray, Chris, and Nia will be competing in the Publix Half Marathon (13.1 miles) with the incredible folks at The Kyle Pease Foundation (KPF). KPF was founded in 2011 to create awareness and raise funds to promote success for persons with disabilities by providing assistance to meet their individual needs through sports. We'll be running with one of 61 (!) teams pushing an athlete along the course and across the finish line.
The event has grown tremendously throughout the years - in 2011 the Pease brothers ran this race as the only push assist team. Last year, there were over 51 teams with 150 volunteers and pushers. With your help, we can allow even more individuals to experience sports in a fully inclusive environment in the years ahead. Funds will go towards scholarship opportunities, purchasing of medical equipment or adaptive sports equipment for others or contributing to other organizations that provide similar assistance to disabled persons as well as participating in educational campaigns to create awareness about Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities.
Every dollar helps and is 100% tax-deductible.
