6.2 Miles of Shared Joy
Help us push Lyle across the finish line!
I was honored to be asked by my dear friend Matt to run with him and a team to push his son, Lyle, across the finish line at this year's famed Peachtree Road Race.
The Kyle Pease Foundation has been doing this work since 2011, pairing push-assist teammates with in-chair athletes so that the finish line belongs to everyone. I love their vision to bring people of different abilities together to share miles.
Running has become a big part of my life over the past couple of years, and one of the things I've come to value most is how simple and equalizing it can be. The Peachtree is special because 60,000 people flood the streets of Atlanta to do exactly that. Being part of a team that makes sure Lyle gets to be one of those 60,000 is something I won't forget.
Any amount you can give goes directly toward the foundation's work to break down barriers in sports for people with disabilities. Thank you for being part of this with us!
