$3,575 towards $10,000

Walking with Kpeasey in Utah is a new non profit foundations with a mission to support inclusion through sports and competition. Donations are used for race fees, equipment and awareness for inclusion of individuals with disabilities.

Curtis, an athlete who has participated in many races with the Kyle Pease Foundation, has a goal of one day completing an ironman. Joe and Michelle heard about Curtis and his goal and knew that they wanted to help out. As a first step in the process, Curtis plans to complete a 1/2 Ironman (Muncie 70.3) with some support from Joe (borrowed legs) and Michelle (team support) in July.

A little about Curtis: Curtis is 33 and works at a local movie theater in Atlanta, GA. Curtis has never let the fact that he has cerebral palsy stop him from competing in various sports. Having already completed the Marine Corps Marathon, 4 triathlons (1 Olympic and 3 sprints) and a number of other endurance events, Curtis is a seasoned athlete. Curtis is looking forward to competing in his first half ironman in July!

A little about Joe: Joe is known for being an above average Alabama Crimson Tide fan. When not cheering on the Tide, you can find Joe skiing, fishing, biking and training for races with his wife, Michelle. Joe has completed both a full and half ironman, as well as many other triathlons and road races.

Joe, Curtis and Michelle need your help in raising funds to make this dream a reality. Special equipment and race fees unfortunately have a high cost. We are asking for any donation; there are none too small to help bring awareness of inclusion to the long distance triathlon community. Not only will your donation go towards helping Curtis compete in this race, but will help to fund the newly formed Walking With KPeasey in Utah chapter of the Kyle Pease Foundation. Supporting this foundation will help to promote inclusion in various races throughout the Wasatch Mountains and help to provide many athletes the opportunity to participate in upcoming races.
