When I competed this summer at 29029 Trail in Park City, Utah, I had the honor to hear Kyle and Brent Pease tell their story of determination, love, and overcoming the night before we raced. Kyle has cerebral palsy and I heard the story of Brent swimming, biking, and running with Kyle at the Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii.
I was overcome with emotion. Brent's love for his brother and desire for his brother to be able to compete in these big races is inspirational and I had to get involved to help others experience the thrill of sport.
On March 3, 2026, I will be competing in the Publix Half-Marathon in Atlanta, Georgia, to raise money for the Kyle Pease foundation. I will be pushing a KPF athlete in a cart to raise money for inclusivity in sport.
