As many of your know, I am competing the the Augusta Half Ironman on September 28th, 2025. I may have told you before ;)
There are many "why's" for me when deciding to jump in and commit to competing in a Half Ironman, but one of my "why's" is to support The Kyle Pease Foundation. I have known Kyle for sometime (quick plug: Kyle publishes a daily devotional that you need to subscribe to), yet was not well aware of the positive impact that KPF is having in the lives of people with disabilities.
In 2023 I volunteered with KPF where I would push a wheelchair in a local 5k run (thanks, Kip Thompson). It was overwhelming to witness the outpouring of joy from the participants and the sincere love & compassion that the volunteers poured over the participants as we raced through Brookhaven. Since then, it has been on my heart to do something more for KPF than just volunteer to race.
Jump forward to today, I am competing in a Half Ironman in Augusta, GA and doing so, in part, to raise money for The Kyle Pease Foundation. I am asking for your financial support to help further the mission and the impactful work that The Kyle Pease Foundation is doing. Additionally, I would encourage you to sign up for a local race with KPF and get in the game - it will certainly change your perspective on things for the better!
