Meet Jake. Jake likes Elvis…a lot!!! So much so, he’d rather hear Elvis when we run than listen to me. Hard to imagine, I know.😏
Jake and I get to do something special this year. We get to suit up (very early) on July 4th and take on the Peachtree Road Race, hills, water spray stations, loving crowds and all. Jake has a special racing chair that fits his long legs and allows him to guide me in comfort. It is not a light ride, but he looks so good in it..much like his buddy Elvis in his Cadillac! (🤔…anyone have pink paint and some white wall tires…?)
We qualified for the open division in February (in the maiden voyage of his yacht) and are pumped to share the road with other thousands of other runners who love this race. The Kyle Pease Foundation makes this happen for so many athletes like Jake and they could use your support to keep Jake running.
