As a personal challenge, I wanted to participate in the Disney World Marathon weekend in 2026. But I didn’t want to just sign up and race! I felt called to harness my efforts in running and training to give back to the Kyle Pease Foundation.
Their mission to raise awareness and funds to promote success for people with disabilities by assisting them in meeting their individual needs through sports and other activities hits close to home. There are many individuals in my life, both family and friends, with physical challenges that not only make their daily life more difficult, much less have the ability to join in sports activities. Now enter the Kyle Pease foundation that allows athletes with disabilities to experience the joys of racing and earning those sought after medals.
Programs include scholarship opportunities, purchasing medical equipment or adaptive sports equipment for others, contributing to organizations that provide similar assistance to disabled persons, and participating in educational campaigns to raise awareness about Cerebral Palsy and other disabilities.
Now I need your help to support this wonderful cause in our local community. No donation is too small to make an impact!
