Major Plans for the Fall are in progress! It all came within a few days and we are signed up, training and excited to share the news!

William is running the Chicago Marathon on October 8th! He is signed up and supported by the Athletes with Disabilities division of Chicago Marathon. They are the Best and are their for the athletes from start to finish. I will be accompanying William as his official Support runner. Having completed my first marathon in 2016 with Andrew the thought of being with William as his completes his first marathon fills me with pride and excitement. He signed up for a local Fleet Feet marathon group and has been committed to the training goal of Completing 26.2 in our hometown and his Grandpa's race. He has experienced many setbacks since 2020 and his persistence is something we can all learn from.

Andrew and I had all but given up on throwing our name in for the New York City Marathon and last week we got an email Welcoming us to their Duo Teams entry list. WOW! He had wanted to go on a choir trip in high school to New York City and logistically and financially it just did not work out. When we got the email last week he said " we have to go, I don't want to miss New York again."

I reached out to Brent and Kyle Pease wondering if they or any teams would be there and it was a Yes, and would you like to join us! It was an Absolute Yes for us as well!

Working with the Kyle Pease Foundation not only gives us pride it helps Andrew and so many more athletes experience racing from a local 5K to A World Major, with accommodations, technical support for the race chairs, accessibility information for navigating these big cities, as they have done it before. It gives us a piece of mind travelling with wheelchairs, race chairs and other equipment that they know and can anticipate what we need and have it there..so that the Major Goal is accomplished! That is Andrew's comfort and care as he competes on the road in an inclusive way.

So, this year William and Andrew turned 20 and I turn the Big 50! We are Majorly Excited to take on Chicago, New York this Fall. Running Boston solo this Spring was a personal running pinnacle, it's time to get back to what I love best...Running for those who can't...Please consider making a donation for inclusion any amount will go a long way in making an athletes dream of the Windy City, The Big Apple or any race in between a reality.

Thank you for supporting us and the Kyle Pease Foundation!
