Team KPF Dopey Challenge
Help us run for a cause bigger than all of us
Join me in supporting real change. Let’s support good in the world and make a difference. Help me in this fundraiser for The Kyle Pease Foundation during Disney's Marathon Weekend.
I am very fortunate to be running in Disney World’s Dopey Challenge Jan 2024 which consists of a 5k,10k, Half Marathon, and Marathon but even more grateful to be doing so for Team KPF. KPF is a wonderful group whose cause is near and dear to me and all of us. The Kyle Pease Foundation (KPF) was founded by Kyle Pease and his brother Brent; Kyle has spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy(CP) and is wheelchair bound and his brother Brent is a runner…together they have run a multitude of races and a few triathlons together. To say their story resonates with me is an understatement as my brother Eddie aka Bubba is disabled and also has CP. The purpose of the foundations is to create awareness and raise funds to promote success for persons with disabilities by providing assistance to meet their individual needs through sports. Bubba’s remarkable journey has taught me invaluable lessons about the power of determination, optimism, the love of family, and community support. It is because of Bubba that I have always pushed myself and had the strength to go the extra mile. Bubba he has inspired not just me but all of my family to be the best they can be and see the world in a beautiful light. Witnessing Bubba’s struggles and triumphs firsthand and their ongoing impact on loved ones around me has fueled my dedication to raising awareness and support for those living with a disability like cerebral palsy.
As I embark on this meaningful journey of Running for KPF’s mission, I urge you to donate generously and help us make a lasting impact. Your support will empower individuals with cerebral palsy or other disabilities to overcome obstacles, pursue their dreams, and lead fulfilling lives. Together, let us embrace the power of community, compassion, and collective action. Every step we take, and every dollar we contribute, brings us closer to a future where disabilities no longer limit possibilities but becomes a catalyst for extraordinary achievements.
