I am excited to be joining The Kyle Pease Foundation at the 2023 Marine Corps Marathon in support of people with disabilities! Your gift will go a long way to help support the athletes and families that make up The Kyle Pease Foundation. It isn’t about the race shirt or medal. Research has shown that an in-chair athlete experiences the same rush of endorphins their push-assist athlete does. More significant is that they and their families get to be like everyone else for a moment!
I was lucky enough to complete this race with my sweet friend Breann in 2019 and Brandi in 2022 representing the Utah chapter of the Kyle Pease Foundation.
This foundation is close to my heart. Being a former special education teacher, Speech Pathologist and rehab director for our local children's hospital, I know the value of inclusion and pushing beyond limits. Help us reach our goal and get more individuals racing across the country.
