Redefining Inclusiveness Through The Publix Atlanta Half Marathon
Join me and help make a difference in a KPF Athlete's life, today!
Join me in supporting real change in the lives of KPF Athlete's. Let’s join together and show Atlanta, what it truly means to be inclusive through sports long after race day.
Set in my hometown of Atlanta, GA, Publix Atlanta Marathon and Half Marathon has established itself as a premier destination, long-distance running event that appeals to elite runners, wheelchair athletes, and everyday runners and walkers. With over 17,000 registered participants in its first year, the event was one of the largest inaugural marathon combo races in history. With equally exciting annual event races, the Publix Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon has become a “True Southern Tradition.”
I met Brent Pease this last year while competing in a 29029 Everesting challenge. Brent is Kyle’s brother and a professional coach. In the hours we spent climbing the mountain he shared with me Kyle and his story. I was inspired. So inspired I read their book Beyond the Finish. I knew these were two men who I wanted to support. I asked Brent how I could get involved and he said, “come race with us!”
Join me as I race with The Kyle Pease Foundation as a Push-Assist Volunteer and fueling inclusiveness through sport. From start to finish I will be racing with a KPF Athlete and together, we will start and finish the Publix Atlanta Half Marathon, one step at a time. Through your generosity, we can fuel The Kyle Pease Foundation and their work they do in our community to support individuals with disabilities.
