Redefining Inclusiveness Through The Publix Atlanta Half Marathon
I don't race for just me anymore! Please help me make difference in KPF Athletes' lives, today!
I have found a new purpose for endurance athletics and want you to join me in supporting real change in the lives of KPF Athletes! Help me demonstrate what it truly means to be inclusive through sports long after race day.
As I searched for new meaning in endurance athletics, a friend pointed me to Kyle and Brent Pease. Soon I met my new friend Kyle and we hit it off instantly through our mutual love for triathlon. After he finished his first race with his brother, Brent, in 2011, "KP" didn't want to keep it to himself. Kyle had a vision for other disabled athletes to experience the same exhilaration of racing that he felt. Soon, the Kyle Pease Foundation was born, and has been doing unbelievable work to include disabled athletes for 10 years.
I will spend the fall training, and will then head down to Atlanta, GA, for the Publix Atlanta Half Marathon. Join me as I race with The Kyle Pease Foundation as a Push-Assist Volunteer, fueling inclusiveness through sport. From start to finish I will be racing with a KPF Athlete and together, we will start and finish the Publix Atlanta Half Marathon, one step at a time. As Brent has coined, "they will borrow my legs and I will borrow their spirit."
Through your generosity, we can fuel The Kyle Pease Foundation and their work they do in our community to support individuals with disabilities.
