Improve the lives of people with disabilities through sports.

A couple years ago, after I started my "weight loss journey", I was running a Publix half marathon race and around mile 9 I was feeling completely gassed and trying to remember why I was doing this as I was running up a steep hill. Out of nowhere, two push-assist athletes and an in-chair athlete came zooming past me up the same hill and the smile on the in-chair athlete completely changed my disposition. From that moment I knew I wanted to learn more about the KPF organization and to be apart of their mission. Over the course of the last 3 years, I have raced a couple of events with the KPF organization and in honor of them with close friends. Each event I am amazed with how much of an impact KPF has on in-chair athletes, their families, and the community.
