Mak has always been a huge athlete up until he spontaneously collapsed during a weight lifting class his senior year of high school due to a brain bleed. Since then he has been working tirelessly with therapists and his family to regain optimal function of his brain and body. Mak is now thrilled for the opportunity to return to sport in the Publix Half Marathon in an arm pedal wheelchair.
