The mission of The Kyle Pease Foundation is to improve the lives of people with disabilities through sports. KPF is focused on bringing athletics to people with disabilities and was formed from the bond of brotherhood of Brent and Kyle Pease. I imagine many of you have seen pictures of two men competing in IRONMAN competitions, with one man pushing the other in a cart, bike, and kayak. That’s the Pease brothers and they are both amazing athletes, enduring different physical and mental challenges as they train and race.

Kyle was born with Cerebral Palsy, a group of disorders that affect a person’s ability to move and maintain balance and posture. While Kyle is confined to a chair, he has not let it stop him from achieving great success in athletics – he is an IRONMAN – and he is a source of inspiration to others with disabilities to find enjoyment in sports.

Brent is frankly just an impressive athlete who has found his passion in helping others like Kyle find ways to participate in athletics. The physical and mental pain Brent and Kyle go through during training and on race day is so extreme that most fully able-bodied adults would never even attempt it. From the miles and miles the brothers complete running, biking, and swimming to the safety measures of dumping Kyle’s kayak to make sure he can stay above water in an emergency, Brent and Kyle do it, again and again, to raise awareness and funds so that KPF can provide other push-assisted teams and individuals with disabilities, the opportunity to participate in sports.

My part in all of this is small in comparison. I AM THROWING A PARTY WITH A PHENOMENAL BAND FOR A GREAT CAUSE. I will also be climbing tthe height of Mt. Everest (29,029 feet) in Aspen in 2025 on behalf of KPF.
